You might have to turn the volume up for the prompt. We had this, one of ours was doing it and another was not.
The only issue is you have to turn up the prompt volume, as the prompt is being announced, which is an issue as you can’t hear it

I’ll look at that when I go to Leeds on Weds but I’m sure the voice control volume is fine.

Things have changed this last few months though. The voice control used to say “please say a command” when I pressed the button. Now I just get a beep. Not too fussed at that as it slowed things down when I had to wait for her to speak.

I’m thinking a sync reset might sort it but I’ll wait until I’ve driven to Leeds first.

It sounds like you set it up as advanced, beep only. Set it back to novice to get the full prompt.

Nope. I checked and it’s not in advanced mode. I’ll grab a pic later.

That’s how I’m set. I just get a beep now and no “please say a command” any more.

Just checked while driving and both advanced and normal seem the same.

Maybe a master reset required?

Time to do a soft reset and report back. No “caution” warnings through five speed camera last night.

Strange how that’s gone, along with the “please say a command” prompt when I press voice control. Maybe it’s something I said

Done a soft reset and a factory reset and neither have got the "Caution" warning back or the "please say a command" prompt. All settings appear correct.

I guess it's a message to Ford now to see what they think.

Well that was a waste of time. "Take it to your dealer for a technician to look at it as you might have an issue with your sync".
