So after reading many positive reviews, I've taken the plunge and ordered a TDI Digital tuning chip as there is 20% off at the moment. Cheaper way of getting the performance of the 155 engine when I have a 125. Looking forward to testing it out for myself. I'll let you all know how it goes when it gets delivered

Doesn,t this affect your warranty ?JackTheLad87 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:34 pm So after reading many positive reviews, I've taken the plunge and ordered a TDI Digital tuning chip as there is 20% off at the moment. But they say: "Our products remove without leaving any trace behind, returning the vehicle to its factory standard condition."
So it,s not the original chip that is tuned , but it,s an ad-on chip ?ruipmatos wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:20 pmTechnically yes...PaulD wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 7:10 amDoesn,t this affect your warranty ?JackTheLad87 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:34 pm So after reading many positive reviews, I've taken the plunge and ordered a TDI Digital tuning chip as there is 20% off at the moment. I have a TDI tuning box which I had for my last Focus ST Line 125, they say at TDI tuning that you need to have it reprogramed as the 2 ECU's are differently mapped.
Its about £130, so much better than the £360 odd +VAT. And it works (past experience)

So I installed the TDI tuning box with ease, took less than 10 minutes... Ran it on mode 4 at first for the required 40 miles (actually did 75 miles) so the box gets used to the car. Noticed the fuel guage didn't go down as much as it usually would on that run so all in all a good start. Did the same journey back but selected mode 7 and my god did the car fly... Didn't expect such a dramatic difference, it felt effortless to drive. Definitely reccomend getting one of these, especially those of you that do frequent motorway journeys!

It's been almost 3 weeks now, did you notice the 20% fuel save?

Well mate my fuel definitely seems to be lasting a longer, not a huge difference but most certainly noticable. The response of the car and how it handles now with the tuning box make it 100% worth it.ruipmatos wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 10:37 amThank you for your feedback!JackTheLad87 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 10:47 pm So I installed the TDI tuning box with ease, took less than 10 minutes...
