Didn’t get a service book when I picked up my car , chap said it’s all done electronically and stored in the ford database, is this right?, I should add it’s not Brand new but an ex demo, will they have kept/ lost the service book?

If it’s anything like my BMW 4-Series it’s built in to the onboard computer so could be no book. On the panel it shows the full service history and even date mileage and centre done.

Ford do keep a digital service record now, much the same as Mazda. Everything is stored online.

In your pack you should have a book called service portfolio. Page 16 has all the info you need.

Am I able to access the digital service record, or do I have to ask the dealer?

No access I believe. Dealer will provide hard copies at time of service f.y.i

May be they'll email you what they have on record.

This would be a useful edition to Ford pass app in the future.

We have a Mazda 2 and I can view and print service records online through MyMazda.

So just had my first service done on my Puma ST.
Mostly checks and and an Oil change. So far so good. But fault re Sync shuting down had been referred to Ford Technical. Car booked in again in Jan 22 for a fix, I hope? However the App still only shows the PDi at delivery and doesn't (yet) show first service history?
I chased my dealer, turns out they forgot to record the first service. Dam poor show I think.
With no service history stamp, it appears to me its hit and miss on what is actually recoded and if customers are actually aware on what may or may not have been record against their car!
So a question to you guys, has the service record appeared on the App for your vehicle?
and if it has/did any idea how it took to appear post service?

Only the PDi at the moment for me. I had a courtesy one on paper but nothing uploaded. I guess they’ll have it on record somewhere as it’s their best interest when it goes back in 2 years.

I can see on ETIS the technician did a software upgrade too.

No PDI for mine showing on the App but the 18,000 mile service data is there.
