I just can’t seem to get the seat in quite the right place. I realise this will be subjective, but has anyone else found this tricky in the Puma and, if so, have you got tips on which order to adjust it in?
This might give me more of a chance as it’s getting annoying now and that’s only during a series of short trips since new too.
Seat Adjustment
I've had no problem with mine, but as you say, it's subjective.
I tend to get the seat quite far back then raise it to the hight I want (usually all the way up) and then pull it forward until everything feels right pedal wise. Then it's time to adjust the steering wheel.
Seems to work for me and I need to do it after each time my wife drives it as her preferences seem to be totally at odds with mine.

I remember being told a long time ago, sit with your shoulders against the back of your seat, and with your outstretched arms, the creases of your wrists should rest on top of the steering wheel.

Thanks both. I have tried setting up by feel and also by using the method you suggest @Wilto. I just can’t quite get it right. I will try starting fresh using your method @Sparks for my commute this morning.
So I set up again today and was a lot better on the short 8 mile each way commute.
I am curious what exactly is the problem you are experiencing?
Is it with the steering wheel, the pedals, the general comfort in the seat...you didnt actually say.
I find the reach to pedals and steering wheel to be absolutely fine, but there is something else annoying me...
It is maybe not so easy to describe, but its the feeling that i continually need to shift the position of my back a little bit while I am driving.
It is really quite weird, and I dont see how any seat adjustment could help with this.

You have hit the nail on the head there!
I had got the pedals and steering bang on, but it’s the back niggle that is my problem too. It’s exactly as you describe for me too. It’s either the lower back section is hurting my kidneys area or the upper back bit is niggling at my spine.
I can adjust position and it’s fine for a bit but then have to move. If I adjust it, it’s fine for a while but then terrible in next time I use the car, even when it’s me who used it last. My Wife has no issues at all.

I've always found the seats to be extremely comfortable in both models (Not tried the ST seats).
