Isn't the new Ka just a rebadged Fiat?

Yep sort, of but Ford changed the ride to be better than the Fiat. The good thing is that as more or less everything is shared, with the exception of the body, then parts are cheap.

Sorry that should have said that the MK2 KA is the same as the Fiat 500 not the KA+.

The Ka+ is a cracking little car...its just like a very slightly smaller Fiesta.
Produced from 2016 - 2020 which included a mid life facelift, but I actually prefer the exterior looks of the pre facelift model.
I have driven hundreds of motorway miles in my girlfriends pre facelift Zetec 1.2 which was the only capacity of petrol engine available, and it drives very well. The only slight negative point I can find with it is the tailgate does not have an external or internal release lever, and the only way to open it is using a button on the fob.

My Wife passed her driving test in a KA years ago and always wanted one, though she’s always wanted a red mini with a Union Jack 🇬🇧 on the roof
Hoping they don’t release a new one with it , as they did a sift top version which she wasn’t keen on
