I was playing with the test mode on SYNC today where you can change the themes and do the speaker tests etc. One of the tests seemed to number the speakers and play a test but I only saw speakers 1 - 9 !

Ford did the same thing with the fiesta,did a 7 speaker b and o system and a 10 speaker system,I have the 10 speaker,1sub and the processor under the drivers seat,675 watt out put,mines the b and o play edition titanium,awesome system,im looking at buying a puma in the next year,I will look very carefully for the surround option on the menu when I test drive one,if it dont have it I wont buy,

Speaker 3 tests twice in succession. No idea why.

Been doing some investigations on the web and it might be due to a setting that can be amended with Forscan .

Whilst booking my car in checked on another Puma they had in the showroom and it did have the surround sound option so i said it seems weird some have it and some don't

I hope it's just a software patch for those that don't have surround. It makes a massive difference if you've not had the b&o play system before.

Hopefully it’s a software patch, otherwise I am not sure what it can be. It’s seems pretty trivial but I hate the idea of paying for something that’s not working as specified.

Don’t know why I would think they could activate it via the built in modem.

Had a follow up email, they still don’t have an answer for me. Expecting another email on Monday from Ford.
