I just think its odd that 2 forum members had the same error message within 30 minutes of each other on the same day. Still looks like a network blip to me.

Hope you're right but it's still logged as a fault on the Ford system. When they plug in for a fault code check if nothing comes up they will still do a software update if appropriate. The warning light above the windscreen is working as it should and no further dash warnings have appeared. So hopefully a one off server glitch.

Visited the dealer today and the system still shows a control module fault but doesn't say which one. That will be revealed on the diagnostic check. The e call system has worked fine since the initial warning. There are multiple messages on the Ford system regarding a fault but I have no messages on the Ford Pass app. The TCU module was replaced in March this year so it will be interesting what they find when the car goes in for it's first service next week.

AMS 1969, have you had any further issues with the e call system or had your dealer check for fault codes.

Also what model Puma do you have and how old is it. The age makes a difference to whether the TCU module needs replacing.

I had the error a few weeks back and just put it down to a network issue.
Puma ST, Desert Island Blue with Driver Assistance Pack.

That makes 3 owners on the forum and in my case there is a fault. As I said before my e call system is working ok. Maybe you should get it checked out just to be sure.

I had it a few months back but Ford checked and it wasn’t logged.

Had it again on Friday last week. I took a photo this time and will keep an eye on things.
