Hello, is it known at this moment the cost of this operation? I know it might last most likely 8 years..
What about the costs of fitting another one in Ford?
Thanx

Battery costs £240...No idea what Ford dealers would charge to fit it. No doubt their own will cost more as well...

Ok thank you, I read somewhere a cost near 2100 due to a shortcut of the battery and system around it.

No doubt, it will cost in that area for a Ford (any Manufacturer) fitted job with a guarantee. Nice to know how much you are being ripped off for though... ;)

It's not me the lucky guy :) I just wanted to have an idea.
Thanx for the link, I've never seen one before.
I suppose it is needed a correct knowledge to swap one of these batteries.
It's potentially cause of death playing with it the wrong way

£240 from Trent is for a used part, which you can't compart to a new part from Ford.

I think you'd be very safe swapping it yourself. Looks like seat out and two nuts holding on the conductors.

Wasn't it placed under the vehicle?
