Yesterday next door we’re having their garage reroofed, as both our garages are parallel to each other the guys he was using had blocked me in, as I backed out, I thought I was clear of the door as it was lowering, being distracted by the workmen I stupidly didn’t go far back enough and the door caught the car at the front, it’s scratched part of the front near the Ford badge, I’ll try and upload some photos..

If you wipe over the area with a wet cloth do the scratches disappear? If they do then they are just in the clear coat, if that’s the case you should be able to polish out. A machine polish is best but there are some decent diy kits out there, Meguiars do a scratch removal kit that’s petty good
