Just wondering how people are buying their car. PCP, lease, HP or cash deal.
I'm going the PCP as I always do because I have always ended up with a good deposit left above the GFV. For example...my GFV on my 4 year old mini cooper S is £9300 after paying £22.400. I know prices are good at the moment but I usually end up with £3500ish as a deposit gor the next 1.

Hi
I’m going lease this time (1st time in 30 years) , I’ve always bought mine outright or personal loan and have spent a small fortune over the years .Also lost loads as well.
Got a cracking deal through lease company , also I’m wanting to go EV in 3 years .

Always bought outright unless there is an incentive like use Ford Finance at 0% and get £x,000 off. Even then paid the full balance on the first payment.

Considered all options but dont change cars too often - my last was celica from new so doing 2 year interest free after negotiating cracking discount - £3.5k off. Just wish bloomin' thing has a delivery date by now.

PCP for me as well. Just come to the end of my first ever PCP on my Fiesta which went back to the dealer today. Seems to have worked out well for me so happy to have done it

Went PCP on the Puma, I always bought outright before, but I got mine for an embarrassingly low monthly payment, so used the capital for other things.
May go lease on an EV next, but, still loving the Puma.

I was intending to pay cash, but the dealer then said I could have 2 years interest free credit at 0% on half of it, so I thought it would be rude not to :)

At the current RPI, that iis looking like a better deal by the day, even though interest rates have not gone up yet.

Cash for me, with a trade in. I tend to keep my cars at least 5 years... usually more.
