There was a price increase mid November that you should also consider as that would likely have to be reflected in the new deal as well?

Well I've printed off the original details of price, APR and GFV just in case they start any funny business. Thanks for the update and hope that they will lower the monthly payments to take this in to account. Looking at the difference in GFV it could be about £30 pm saving...

I don't like the sound of them increasing the GFV by stealth, as that means the customer would have less equity in the car when the time comes to trade in at the end of the contract.

The APR increase on PCP deals can indeed affect the terms of deals secured in the past. PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) agreements can vary in how they handle interest rates. Some may have a fixed rate at the time of the deal, while others might be linked to the Bank of England base rate, as you mentioned.
To get a clear understanding of how this APR increase impacts your specific PCP deal with Ford, it's best to reach out to your dealership or finance provider.
And if you ever need assistance with financial matters, like understanding rates or mortgage advice, you can consider consulting a Mortgage Broker in Altrincham. They're experts in navigating these financial aspects. Hope this helps!
