Hi All. Long time lurker but finally got a collection date for our new Puma ST. From what I found out yesterday the GFV is set on the day that the purchase agreement is signed but that the interest rate is as per the order. Be careful with this as I found yesterday - the GFV was around £1050 higher than my order but the monthly repayments hadn't changed - would have meant losing around £1000 over the course of the 3 years if I had just checked the monthly repayment figure and not properly checked the complete document. This was resolved by lowering the monthly repayments in the end. Just wanted others to be aware.

Blimey, thanks for the heads up. How did they explain that? Thats the sort of thing they did on the Fiesta orders and it all felt a bit underhanded. Was it a genuine mistake or were they trying it on?

My dealer is being very quiet which is out of character. Just tried to nudge things for a bit of info.

Can't remember if you've said anywhere if you have a build date set yet?

I placed my order in August'21 and managed to get what was going to be a demo car - this was apparently ordered in April'21. Managed to amend the order to a different colour and added the performance pack. Other than that completely standard. Was built 2nd week of November and landed in the UK 1st week of December where it sat for a month before being delivered to my dealer today for collection next week.
They didn't say anything before receiving the finance documents but when scanning i knew something was wrong. I queried with the finance dept. or tried to tell me I had been given the wrong GFV figure on my order - which i explained was rubbish. Got a call back a couple of hours later to apologise and that Ford set the GFV and to remedy they reduced my monthly repayments so it matched my original order.
Hope that helps everyone else if they are in a similar position - can imagine there are people who only check the monthly repayment before signing away.
