I'm getting a bit confused about the tyre size on my soon to be delivered Vignale. I've seen posts on here saying that the 18" tyres are 50 profile but on the dealer spec sheet it says the car comes with 215/40/18 tyres. What is right? To be honest, I would much prefer the 50 profile for the better comfort rather than the looks and handling of the 40 profile.

I take it the August date on your image is for August 2021? The reason I ask is the dealer sent me this spec sheet in June this year and its dated March 2021. It shows 215/40/18 tyres on the Vignale

I have had a look at the PL Specs and they haven’t changed since the Vignale was introduced. Below is the latest Spec.

Right...... so I will be getting the 40 profile tyres. That's a shame :(

Apologies for that, mistakenly attached the wrong image, that’ll teach me to post whilst on the move (not driving though!).
Interestingly it would seem the profile for all 18” wheels have been reduced - wonder why they did that?

No idea. The 40 profiles seem to be 30% more expensive than the 50's.

I might be tempted to go back to 50 profile when the original tyres need replacing in a few years time.

There is a significant difference in the rolling diameter (nearly 7%) so you probably won't be able to do that without making other changes to avoid messing up the effective gearing and the speedometer / odometer readings.
