Pumas leave the factory by train for Vlissingham, Holland. Then it's ro-ro to Dagenham on the Thames. Car transporters from there to dealers. The whole process can take up to 5 weeks. There are 3 ships going back and forth all the time. The dealer can follow every move through their Ford contact but won't let you have the info to do it yourself. Patience is a virtue but the last five months has been difficult.

Not yet, hopefully in the next few days. Weather has not been the best and the forecast is not great. More patience required from me.

For anyone interested, there is a really good series of the Puma production at Craiova on the Ya'tube - from metal pressing to transporting out. Just search for Puma Craiova and select EP01 and go from there. I can't put the name here as the Romanian translation may get me banned from the forum. It's all in Romanian with English subtitles. The trains at the end look like never ending transporters but on rails. As for whether they take them to port or come through the tunnel I dunno. Once they arrive in the UK, then the driver shortage may play a small part, as may the shipping congestion if they hop them over the channel, but nothing considerable.

Leaky5, mine still has no date either. I think they're going to be building the special edition ST in the first quarter so that may put an extra blip of a delay on things. Did they allude to which cars they suddenly started prioritising? I'm not trying to jump the queue at all, but I wondered if they might bump up some of the orders that had been transitioned from the Fiesta debacle.
Blucat, you asked the questions, I told you what the dealer said. When I call them for an update, I choose not to speak to the............ as you put it ..... speak to the (work experience kid to answer the phone and improvise) I speak to the guy that we dealt with, the salesman that we dealt with, who sold us the car. If my info is not helpful to you, then dont take the pi$$, and ask for info that you then decide to redicule. Dealers/salesman/saleswoman, speel you off with the $hit that suits them, not the customer. I'm obviously not dealinig with a muppet, BUT, a dealer/muppet that talks different $hit to you. Stop posting BolloXX , if it arrives when promised, I assure you, you WILL be the first to know. (Just Saying).

You have me down all wrong entirely. I apologise for any offence however there is absolutely no need for what you've posted in return and didn't expect such an expletive filled attack. I was attempting to empathise with you and tried to have a little laugh at your dealers expense for you being told stuff that just seems a bit bonkers. Just trying inject a little humour.

I will however steer clear of your posts in the future if you feel quite so strongly about my posts. Good luck with your car.

The cool Bluecat and NeilS with some quality refereeing. All on the forum especially those of us awaiting delivery need to have a sense of humour despite the lack of information and the long wait.

Hi Everyone I am new here .
I have been following this forum and read the posts before mine , I have learnt quite a bit of info I had not a clue about . I Ordered my Puma 155 ST X manual on August 9th 2021 and was hoping for a mud November delivery at my dealership in Essex , however my sales guy has been very informative on most front of his understanding . My car was built 19th November 2021. And now expecting delivery either just before Christmas or just after pending logistics I guess . I am so looking forward to going back to a Ford after many years of getting other makes ..
