Cheers for that denty. You're right, I'd be cutting off my nose to spite my face.
Just checked on Motorpoint and the cheapest ST-Line is only £600 less than I'm paying and it's 18 months old.
I can apparently get a new Polo R by the end of July but who's to say the same thing won't happen again.... And I chose the Puma originally as that's the car I prefer.
If they say it's another X weeks (or even months) I could live with that, it's just the fact that there's been no movement for 10 weeks and nobody seems to have a clue what's happening... Poor show from Ford. I'll just have to wait and hope they can find something out soon.
Puma delayed again
Yeh Ford have been terrible in sharing information throughout the last year. I ordered mine in July of last year and was told it should be on the drive by the end of October. Roll on 28th Jan and I collected.
However, my dealership was very good and kept me up to date of any changes, so it did help.
All was forgotten when we collected and I made the right choice with the car.

Stan69, I had similar, nothing for weeks then it turned up and the wait is forgotten, the dealer did say they are starting to come through a bit quicker, don’t give up just yet. Build quality seems the same as every other Ford I’ve had and I think it’s worth the wait as it’s a good to drive, not found anything I don’t like as yet
So been checking this forum for a while... I don't think there is anyone who has waited as long as I am.
The order was placed on 30 September. Gate release on 10 March (after a couple of months delays - initial projection was January-February). And still waiting, without no end in sight. About a month ago, an estimated delivery date (which has already been delayed once before that) was 21 May. But this has disappeared now too, as will can see: The dealer and Ford UK are not very helpful - no reason for such extraordinary slow shipment time. Today's update from Ford UK only advised me that the current shipment time is around 7-10 weeks. In my case, I am already at week 9... For context: Curtici is a customs clearance point between Romania and Hungary (Romania is still not within the Schengen Agreement area). Given the reports here, how long have people reported being stuck in Antwerpen and Dagenham, I am not holding my hopes high about getting the car in even before the end of this month.
The Supply chain bottlenecks delaying production are fair and understandable, but this is something else and is wholly unacceptable, IMO.

Will be worth the wait, plus that's better than some...
