Done 16700 miles now and have averaged 47.8 mpg. Purposely not reset trip 1 setting. ST Line-X FE 125.

Update:
Just driven 200 miles - motorway and dual carriageway most of the way. Readings are as follows:
Todays trip - 63 mpg
Car mpg reading since new - 53 mpg
mpg in todays fordpass fuel report - 57 mpg
Really not sure how reliable these figures are, but if they are accurate then I'm pretty impressed.

I don't think they are anywhere near accurate. No, matter, as they are a bit pointless IMO.cianpars wrote: βThu Sep 02, 2021 5:03 pm Update:

On the subject of consumption, I filled the car up for a long trip a couple of days ago and the distance to empty gauge hit 500 miles for the first time. That's good for a tank of this size. I do have to say again though that I'm not sure about accuracy, but I zeroed the trip meter this time, so will see how many miles are left when the fuel light comes on or when I refill.
I do a tank to tank fill and manually check the mpg. I repeat this 3 or 4 times using the same forecourt and even the same pump if possible. It varies from the app measurement by up to 2 mpg this being higher than my figures. Hope that makes sense, could have presented it a bit better.
Puma ST-Line-Vignale 155 manual, magnetic grey, DAP, electric tailgate. New in December 2021.

update : better data from participants
Untill now it seems that there is not a lot of difference between the 125 and 155 bhs engines. The median (which eleminates outliers in the data) is just slightly in favor of the 155 bhp engine.
THE MORE DATA WILL GIVE A MORE ACCURATE OUTCOME (but be honest what the fuel consumption you mention and trips with higher milages also help).

Latest round trip of 365 miles on E10, normal mode driving mostly motorway, trip reading 67.1 (not a typo)
Ford Puma ST Line X 155 Desert Island Blue
Certainly if you keep to around 60 mph on a motorway trip, drive gently and use economy mode, 67 mpg is a possibility. But of course how many peoole buy a Puma to drive like that.BjNtheBear wrote: βWed Sep 22, 2021 4:56 pm Latest round trip of 365 miles on E10, normal mode driving mostly motorway, trip reading 67.1 (not a typo)
I was getting well into the 60s on my trip to Cornwall, but it soon dropped back down into the mid 50s once I started driving around Cornish roads and getting stuck in traffic. Not complaining though, the fuel economy has been a lot better than I expected.
I've now covered 3,000 miles since new at an average of around 52.5 mpg
