Originally the can of squirty for the tyres was under the right hand seat, moved to the boot when battery was moved.

I'm Going to get the b&o system checked in the ST when car is in for first service in July
So been struggling since getting the car to get a happy balance setting that gives you that kick of bass without an overpowering booming drone of sub bass that feels like a wowing rumbling drone bass echo
The sub is also vibrating the rear drivers side lower bumper if I have bass slid up too far
Just cannot find any setting to change that bass booming effect, im playing through usb stick mixture of old and new music
Can get it nice on 80's music then if I play some koven or chicane or anything modern Coldplay the bass then it is booming and drones with a wow effect.
Also whether it's just my ears but sometimes I think it changes from day to day, I'm guessing that's impossible
Attached pics that are not too bad but not brilliant can't find that happy medium, no surround or adaptive set.
I listen on around volume 15-20
My little fiesta 1.1 mk8 non sub and standard system sounds better with a punchy bass....
Will update when it's been in dealership and then been told all is fine.
I know the car environment isn't great for music but should be able to have some bass thump without the constant drone and booming
Could this be a faulty sub or Amp? Or is it meant to be really heavy drone on sub bass?

I don't have any issues with mine but what I will say is....its not the best B&O have done. The Harmon Kardon I had in the mini was twice as good.
My ST-Line X eq screen looks nothing like that. No B&O logo's or pre-sets. Just the sliders. That said it is a first edition with the original system and we had to fight to get the surround sound setting activated.
Anyway, no problems with the Bass, but we may also have had a different Sub.
As for the EQ, I was told by a sound engineer in a recording studio that it's best to leave them flat in the home or car with a half decent system. That way you are listening to the music as it was meant to sound by the studio as mixed by the engineers.
I stick to that in the main and only, occasionally, tweak the bass. I say this with the obvious 'everyone is different' proviso..

Okay the doors card rattle/vibrant at times. But I can't fault the sound from my vehicles B&O system.
Notwithstanding that, I think we expect to much. Vehicle cabin space isn't ideally suited for great audio.
