Annoyingly mine goes off every time I get to the bottom of my road. There’s not been roadworks there for months. Any idea where it’s getting it’s information from? Do I need to update the maps?
Same for me. Whatever is driving these alerts is so far out of date to the point of being conpletely useless. I get road works and speed limit signs but does the system recognise any other signs?Local Hero wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 6:30 am Annoyingly mine goes off every time I get to the bottom of my road. I am using Android Auto more now (via the USBC link) , though for shorter journeys, I use the inbuilt system. The short cable poking out of the slot in my centre console doesd't get in the way or get noticed if it's not being used and saves the USB slot for other things.

During the recent heavy rain I got an adverse weather warning. That should be car to car transmission (another Ford in the area) Not too sure how roadworks are transmitted/reported. Perhaps it's highways agency or local authority.
