Also the environment in which you are driving will impact MPG - driving in an urban, more congested environment will impact - despite the stop/start feature on the car - due to being in lower gears at lower speed and frequent gear changes. More open roads with less traffic will help achieve a better MPG.

In a rural area with a 125 ST LIne which has now done 1,800 miles , all in since new the car is saying its done 52.3 MPG. Thats been all in Trail and Normal modes with just a tiny use of Eco mode.

Driving a Ford Cortina in south London in the 70's my parents said they could watch the fuel guage going down as they sat in traffic !

My consumption for March sits at 29.7 MPG. A pointless figure IMO as it was used less than normal.
I've done trips, driving like miss daisy was in the back, where I've achieved just over 60 MPG. I do a regular 80 mile round trip which averages around 55 MPG.
I only know this because the car tells me, not because I care. If I was that worried about it, I would have bought a bike..... :D

Did a long round trip, mostly motorway. Using the Trip set at zero before I started I achieved 37.8mpg. AVG (Puma ST) . Mostly driven in sport mode, except when driving through steady moving road works I used the eco mode and managed to get it over 41mpg for a time.
PS..anyone notice the Ford App keeps crashing when trying to read the recent fuel report. With 1600 miles on the clock my monthly average is 31.8mpg or at least thats what the App reads b4 crashing.

Yes just got mine and the app keeps crashing, read 42.4 which isn't great especially since last month was 48 , but it is what it is i guess and is more than my Bmw was getting so all is good.

Yes my app keeps crashing on the fuel report.,...I even uninstalled it an put it back, but it's the same. For some reason the fuel report is still in beta, so, maybe that's the problem.
Just use the Pro version...

As with all the ST’s it’s more about “smiles per gallon” than “miles per gallon”.....👍
