After 300 miles, (from new) with a mixture of motorways and A roads, I'm getting 50.2. Running in "normal" mode
But I am taking it easy for a while. I know I don't need to run the engine in, but something inside me is restraining my right foot ! Give it another 200 miles, and then my inhibitions will disappear.

My excuse is that you all drive like Miss Daisy is being transported in the rear of your Puma's.. ;) ..I reached the heavy heights of 39.5 MPG this month according to the App, but we don't believe it to be accurate.....Do we???

What's the best way to slow down when approaching traffic lights or a junction? I've been slowing down by dropping gears without using the brakes until I need to. The problem is sometimes the engine starts labouring and using more petrol while I'm crawling to a stop. Is it better to let the engine braking slow you down until you get below the rolling stop/start limit and then use brakes and clutch to engage the stop/start?

Just be careful if slowing down without using brake pedal , 1st the person behind is waiting for your lights to show and 2nd I was once a passenger in a car and driver was doing this not knowing a police car behindโ€ฆ.needless to say got pulled at next junction and brakes checked and a telling off for what it could have caused.

So latest mpg, did 448 miles onboard computer saying I've attained 68.3 mpg, actual figure worked out at 63.66 mpg, slightly down from last month ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ™‚ may be the air con or the fact I brimmed it too much ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜โ›ฝ

Meant to add, around 300 on motorway rest around town, all normal mode ๐Ÿ‘
