I have a Ford Puma 1.0 ST Line X 155ps...

When I accelerate or even blip the throttle, I can hear a metallic sound (with window down) coming from the engine bay. Anyone else have this? Is it the turbo?

Yes I have this. I've taken it to two different dealers and both say nothing is wrong with the car. Apparently some do it, some don't.

If you get it resolved, please let me know, Sounds shit but nothing else I can do.

Have you a local independent with a lift or pit? I always find a box of cakes for the lads gets me 10 minutes on the ramp for a look and listen underneath. You might be able to pin point what's rattling rather than being fobbed off.

I've got a fork lift here at work. Might ask them to lift it up ;)

I think its the wastegate butterfly chattering away.
Some rattle more than others. Its loose on the shaft to prevent soot build up & sticking.
They do it when the waste gate is in a mid position and the exhaust pulses through the turbo cause the noise.

The old 1.0 Fox engine was terrible for this sound, believe it or not the Fox Upgrade fitted to Puma is much better.

You are right! I can hear it opening a closing depending on the throtle position… my only concern is, that it was not chattering when it was brand new.. I also had Focus mk4 1.0 non hybrid version and turbo went away in 16k miles thanks to its wastegate.. I really hope this time it will last.

Best to go wrong sooner rather than later.

You are surely right… I know Ford is not Mercedes, but was not expecting to happen so early…
