Well I finally took the plunge and had this unit fitted. Big increase in torque noticeable immediately. I'll evaluate it over a couple of weeks but already able to change gear sooner and the throttle response is a bit like being in sport mode. It's also a lot cheaper then at first thought. Total £157.90 and free fitting too. If the car needs service they will remove and refit it for free. It's also free delivery with easy to fit instructions and there are Youtube videos for back up if required. They will also help over the phone too. If you change your car they can re-programme the unit for a small fee.I need a decent run to try this out so hopefully tomorrow i'll have a better idea of how this unit performs.

Not sure I would take the chance on a car under warranty. Maybe in 3 years.

Do you have the 125 or 155 motor? How long did it take to fit and was fitting fairly easy?

It will be very interesting to know how well it performs for you though. What levels of increased torque and BHP is it supposed to provide?

Honestly, isn't it a bit too much to ask of a lawnmower engine? How long do you reckon it'll last with that power increase?

Mine is a 125 and all the info is available on their website. Fitting takes 15 minutes. Reason I fitted it is for the increase in torque not the extra hp. I've been on a run today and will get back with more detail. When the unit is removed it leaves no trace unlike a remap.

May I ask why you were looking to increase the torque?

Wdf76's comments in the 125 v 155 thread are relevant regarding the differences in torque.

Yes, understood. But I wondered why you specifically required more torque?

Can't change into 4th gear much under 40 mph without labouring the engine and likewise through the the higher gears. It now drives much nearer a 155. There is no extra strain as I'm not using the extra hp for higher acceleration or speed. Don't think I've explained that very well but hope you get the gist.

Also there are 5 settings on this unit depending on what your needs are. Mine is not set for maximum power. And the unit can be removed within 28 days and a full refund if not satisfied.
