You get a bar which gives you actual mpg on the dashboard if you use the screen that shows overall mpg (not the trip meter screen) Martin. It goes up to 60 mpg.

Yeah, I know the bar. But I’m wondering what my live MPG is since I do so much city commute now. It at least isn’t nearly as fuel efficient as my Fiesta was. I’m way higher.

I’m stuck around 31mpg but 90% of driving has been in the city center. ST thought.

I'm getting a bit worried about these mpg figures. I've got a bog standard 125 on order, and as it is a mild hybrid I assumed I would be getting more than the 51mpg I currently get with my Arona !

My 125 puma is the most fuel efficient car I've ever had averaging 52 5 over it's first 4k miles. My last car was a B Max with the same engine which returned 46 mpg over 40k miles. The Puma is a fair bit heavier than the B Max too, though much sleaker.

I tend to drive gently in eco mode on the motorway and watch my average mpg go up and then have a bit of a blast in sport mode and watch it go back down again :D

Everybody's driving style and journey distances are different which explains the wide range of results. You cannot base your expectations on what other people are achieving. Also remember that the car indicated values include a feel good bonus of 5-10% compared to the actual mpg. They are only good for comparing for the same car over time. My results (automatic) are 40 to 65 mpg depending on the journey length, weather conditions and traffic.

Depends how you drive it. I like Sport mode and use it a bit now. Especially when I feel I might need some oomph - like entering motorways or country roads. The problem is that it’s too much fun as well.

155 hybrid averaging almost 49mpg for me is great. My 1.5 diesel Focus was only giving me 56mpg. This car is much more fun to drive.
