Hi my name is Nicky
New to the group but have had my Puma since October 2020. I love everything about the Puma apart from a few little annoying bits . My charge pad won’t charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max with or without a case .. my mpg is nowhere near what Ford say they can do .. I should of picked the 155bhp . Otherwise I love it’s looks and the cabin and I’m looking forward to more days out now lockdown is lifted . Hope everyone is enjoying their Puma .. I look forward to chatting to you all

Welcome, glad you are enjoying it. Let us know where in the country you are as well as specs etc...Post a pic in the Gallery....
There seems to be a problem with the iPhone 12, someone else on the forum has had issues with it.
MPG will never be as quoted by any manufacturer, unless you drive like a saint in perfect conditions. I think most of us get between 45 and 50 Mpg without trying too hard.
It's better to check what you get on each individual trip than the monthly average.
The 125 is more than enough, I've not noticed it underpowered in any scenario I've encountered.

You could try the eco challenge and driving tips, see if you can get your score higher. There's really no secret to it. It's all in your right foot.

Not quite. Mine does charge but then every so often says the phone has been disconnected from the charge pad. I’m finding now that it tends to be fine until I change drive modes. Then it informs me it’s charging only to show the error message not too far down the road. It might just be coincidence but it seems a regular occurrence now.

Might be worth trying this:

Disconnect the Bluetooth phone connection with sync.
“Forget all other Bluetooth devices on the phone.
Reconnect the phones Bluetooth to sync.

I found after doing that it was a lot better.

It seems to be an iPhone 12 issue. I even bought a magsafe case with the magnetic connector but it’s made little difference.

I’m sure it’s software though as surely if it was hardware it wouldn’t charge at all?

I mentioned it to the service manager this morning and he seemed to think it is a software issue and that sync 3 will eventually "catch up". He's well aware that Sync is a bit of a nightmare at the moment.

Time for Ford to get their act together with Sync 3 I think.

oh - and it charged both ways (8 mile each way) Normal mode going and Fun mode coming back. It didn't disconnect once.
