Hi
Just ordered Puma ST Line X Automatic with Drivers Assistance pack and Lazy mans Out boot lid.
I have been told it will be 12-16 weeks before delivery, is this normal?

I reckon that's pretty quick compared to some I've read about. VAG seem especially bad. Shortage of chips, low production rates have seen new (in stock), nearly new rates soar. There are no cheap lease deals about either. Just glad I'm not at end of contract/lease for a while. I reckon a 4 month wait for delivery is pretty crap though.

That's around the time, give or take a week, for a new build. as said, the lead times have increased lately as the volume of manufacture has been reduced.

I was told by the dealer when I picked mine up last week if I ordered the same spec car now it would be 6 months lead time due to chip shortages, its a global shortage not just affecting the motor industry.

ChiP shortages are one thing, there's more to it than that. It's an easy excuse to blame a component when the motor industry as a whole is on its arse.

I ordered mine yesterday.
Delivery on September. It's really fast given the to huge problems with semiconductors availability.
