Took delivery on 14th May of a fantastic red st line puma, all going well until 20th May.
Had a warning message on dash appear “Engine coolant over temperature” which caused the engine management system to engage.Recovered by the AA to main dealer who thought it might be water pump problem, but it’s not at this stage they have no idea so have sent all details to Ford for advice or help.
CAR ONLY HAS 205 MILES ON CLOCK AT PRESENT.

Did the car actually overheat, water level drop or just the warning and ems come on.
Hopefully something simple like a sensor , thermostat, if a major fault happens within 30 days you can reject it.
Good luck and let us know the outcome.

Hi Mike,
The Puma was cold at the time, none of the items you listed, when I turned ignition on the dash had the message on it. When I get answers will let you know.
