Hi,
I'm wondering whether I should add full led to my spec or not.
I don't care about how it looks (full led is BTW prettier) but I care about light quality (strength, width and length).
I know there is difference in high beam, H1 vs LED, but don't know how much noticeable that difference is.
Low beam should be exactly the same, right? I am not sure about that since I saw on youtube that full led have self levelling. AFAIK self levelling is mandatory when some lumen threshold is exceeded (2,5k? 3k? I don't remember). So, if full leds have self levelling maybe that means they are stronger?
What do you think? Someone compared standard and full led?
Should I order full led or not
Not compared them directly, but, they are much better than the lights I had on my last car. No brainer for me going forward...

I rattle down to work in the early hours everyday and I wouldn't want to be without LEDs. I let auto dip take control but I find that dipped headlights are sufficient too. Do a lot of night driving? Then I'd recommend them. They're becoming more of a standard fit for a lot of manufacturers now. Just not at Ford......

I don't have the full LED and the halogen main beam are absolute pants! I can barely tell the difference when switched to high beam and there is a noticeable yellow/warm tinge to the light compared to LED dipped.
Having said that the LED dipped beam is fantastic and I barely need the high beam. If I bought another I would definitely go for the full LED package...

And annoying also, because I already have well packed (and expensive) spec. It seems full/fixed led is must have, my wallet cries...
In autumn/winter I drive a lot in dark and forests.
I also drive to work in the middle of the night and the LED headlights were a must-have on my list. Definitely well worth it, they're excellent. I've also driven/owned cars with xenon headlights which were great, but the full LED in the Puma beats them hands down.
That's interesting. I have Mondeo with HID and I can also say it is great. If full LED is better, then decision is obvious.
You guys ruined my budget
Just be warned that once you have led headlights you must have them for life. That's until something better comes along

Didn't know there was an led/halogen headlamp. Are your dipped projector halogen?DesertIslandBlue wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 7:18 am I don't have the full LED and the halogen main beam are absolute pants!
If your wallet can stretch to it, do it
