New Puma on the way
Hi all, happy to join the owners club. I've ordered a Desert Blue ST line spec to be delivered in 2 weeks or so. I almost bought the new Mokka, but decided the Puma was the better car for me. Mine is already built and is in a compound somewhere waiting to be shipped to Ireland. I traded my Astra J GTC diesel for this, I'm hoping the Puma has similar fuel consumption to the Astra which averaged around 50mpg. The Astra was a heavy car and I had factory 20" rims which probably didn't help the fuel consumption! Diesel is quite a bit cheaper than petrol here (about 10c cheaper), so I know the Puma will cost me a bit more at the pumps. I plan to buy the service pack too. Hoping I get a good one and don't have any battery problems!
Welcome....If you should get any problems, we usually get to the bottom of it (eventually) on here....Enjoy the ride, it is good to drive..

Thanks all, yes I've been reading all about the possible issues including the battery and will definitely check that out first. Hoping it is a Varta as my new car will be getting parked up for a couple of weeks over the summer. Looking forward to some quiet motoring, the Astra sounds like a box of spanners is loose in the engine bay on startup lol.
Welcome, hope you enjoy your new Puma, as for mpg, I’m getting 49/50 , a bit less during the winter, I only do about 90 miles a week although I did a run last October and got about the same, so it’s not too bad, obviously no where near a diesel though....
St line x 1st edition, it has nearly everything
