Hi All,
Car has now been in dealers for initial problems. Air bag light was a loose connection. Powered tailgate has now had a module update and all works as it should. When car is locked it now opens and closes with a "kick" or touching the tailgate latch handle.
Traffic signs has also had an update and this is looking promising.
The car now has to go in again for a recall. The lower door mouldings are being changed as apparently these are liable to sometimes catch on the door when opening or closing. I have to wait for the new mouldings to be ordered.

Good positive outcome for you.

I wonder how they get the mouldings off. To me they look glued or bonded to the bottom of the door.

I’m sure you’ve got to double press button to open the boot. ( locked or open)
As for the foot operation. Errrrrrr hit n miss on mine 🤣

Haha didn’t see you’d had it rectified.

It works 100% of the time for me, the trick is to do it in slow motion. More like a slow movement forward and back rather than a kick.
