Ahh I understand. Light permanently on indicates a fault.

Does the light only go out when someone sits on passenger seat? Only I've looked in setting to activate/de-activate to passenger air bag and all it does is change the light on display.

No the light stays on permanently, with or without a passenger. In the settings, the passenger airbag is activated and if I select it, it then tells me I can't deactivate the passenger airbag

Perhaps Ford assist might respond to that fault, which may save you a trip to the dealer? It's a safety issue.

Just had the AA out (Ford assist) and everything is working as it should.

Got my wires crossed, the light i was referring to, is the one under the heating controls. This light is always on to let you know whether the passenger airbag is on or off.

The airbag light the manual is referring to is the one on the dashboard, I do feel a bit of a wally, but at least I know it is okay 👌.

Oh and the reason that I couldn't deactivate the passenger airbag in the settings is that you have to select deactivate option then keep the ok button pressed until it tells you it has been deactivated.

Was pleased the technician was okay about it all
