Hi all, only had my Puma three days (after a long wait), but first impressions are it is really good. I am still finding my way round stuff but seems easy enough to pick up. I asked my dealership not to clean the car so collected it with the factory stickers on. After two days cleaning, I am very pleased and impressed with the final result and so were the dealership when I popped in to show them (offered me a job ).
I am enjoying this Puma forum very informative and the interesting articles.

Hello all - new Puma lucid red
Hi Spearmint
Remove drivers side matt
Pre clean car - Car Gods pre wash 4-5 mins
Wheels / Alloys prep sonax /wonder wheels
Rinse
Iron X decontaminate leave 2 –3 mins
Snow blast leave 5 –10 mins
Rinse
Wash- 2 grit guard buckets - 2 mitts straight lines
Rinse use filtered rain water ( no hard water marks)
Micro towel or waffle mat / air blower ( reverse blow old vac for me)
Light clay bar use # motion use with quick detailer
Light polish use the DA on speed 4/5 max
Check ALL polish is removed, EPC clean/wipe car
Wax Meguiars Ultra
Glass Meguiars prefect clarity, then G/tech1 clear vision
Treat tyres Meguiars hot rims
Paint sealent
Replace drivers side matt
Stand back and admire
Of course I am NOT saying one product is better than another, its just what works for me.
Times are weather dependant ( leaving snow blast wax on etc), Always check the condition of the paint after every stage as you do not always need to clay.
But I did a light clay and removed small amounts of dirt.
Hope this is of some help, defiantly not try to teach anyone to suck eggs here.
Regards

You've done a cracking job on it! I was going to get Lucid Red, changed my mind and went for Agate Black instead, there's pics somewhere in the group, but after spending a couple of hours cleaning and finishing the car, certainly worth the effort, till the next day it rains or when you take to the dealer to have something looked at and as a courtesy they "wash" it for you. Was planning on giving it another clean this week but looks like the weather is unpredictable again.
Did use AG Magma, but somehow managed to use half a bottle on just the wheels, not sure I used too much. Appreciate the advice, long time since I took proper care of a car, last time it was known as "cleaning and polishing" apparently known as "detailing" now!
Cheers!
Gavin

Hi Gavin
I used Sonax Xtreme which ran out so finished with Wonder wheels all work just as well but that’s my opinion. No problem with Magma
Just traded my Feista ST black for the Puma, black cars look the best when cleaned.
I agree with you car cleaning has come along way. I still remember using fairy liquid and an old sponge on my first car
There are a lot of very good car cleaning products now a days
Have fun
