Hi all,
I have just registered after being a guest for several months. I ordered my puma on March 31st with a rather generous delivery date of July (knew that was a long shot) I thought perhaps September if I was really lucky. I'd like to ask what information I'll need to track progress as much as possible? From reading the forum it looks like a build date and vin number once built can help.
I am reluctant to pester my dealer for info, he called several weeks after I'd ordered to say prices changed on April 1st and my models initial payment had gone up. He asked if I'd like to change model to keep payment same or pay the difference Thankfully I'd written confirmation that my price was guaranteed
Any information you could share with a newbie would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum.....As far as tracking goes, others will be along with the info you need. I don't have the patience to wait any longer than 2 weeks for a car delivery. Glad I bought mine before the problems.....

Hello Jules82.
I emailed the sales guy after 3 months. Then again after another 3 months. Both times they called back to relay the info they had via, I assume, a database administered by Ford. I'd expect a dealer to expect a call/email every so often.
Few weeks later they called to inform me the car had arrived. 8 months two weeks start to finish, it's a Titanium model, the other model types seem(ed) to have shorter lead times.
Having had it for less than two weeks, so far happy to have had the patience to wait (no dig at Sparks ).
Good luck!
