Hello people, does anyone know if the Puma ST has the capability to Flatshift?
Can't find anything in the manual, the Fiesta ST Mk8, same engine etc does.
I have tried it but uncertain as engine tends to rev up a little! So clearly I am little concerned as I potentially I could wear the clutch out if it doesn't.
Don't get me wrong here, I am not talking about pedal to the metal, but simply keeping the throttle steady without coming completely off when changing up a gear.

Does it need to be in sport or track mode to do it I used to have fun in my fiST with that. Out of interest does the puma ST rev match on down shift now?

No rev match on downshift, haven't tried flat shifting yet.

I used to flat shift until I broke a gearbox in the early 90s. Haven't done it regularly since.

Can I ask how you achieved this please?
Mine bounces off the rev limiter when I try mine in Sport or Race track modes.
To be fair, once it's hit the limiter it won't rev any higher! ;)
