Has anyone been checking the Oil life reamaining percentage on the Ford pass App?
My Puma ST has just passed 650miles and is showing the oil life as 88%?
At that rate I will need an oil change at 6k miles and way way before the recommend 12k service?

Just shows that it's expecting you to cover 6k in 12 months at your current rate, so just measuring time and distance not oil quality. Bit gimmicky.

When the oil life indicates about 10% you get a warning to visit a dealer. I like the idea of an oil and filter change after 12 months regardless of the mileage especially with it being a new vehicle.

It's a shame, new cars with next to no miles on them is not good. 3 and 5 mile trips are not warming the oil to the correct running temperature. Suspension, steering and brakes don't like inactivity either.

I agree, mine only comes out for longer trips. I have a van I run around in.

I’m going to reach the heady heights of doing 21 miles this week as I’m going for my 1st jab (normally do 4 miles a week currently)
