In terms of driving position, passenger comfort and ease of getting in and out of the car (my father in law would take about 15 minutes to get into the S3 and bang his head several times ) its far superior. I bought the car on line so had to pick it up from Nottingham and gave it a fairly good blast on the way home to Wales. No regrets at the moment.
I hope you dont mind me asking, but I am considering changing from my Audi S3 8V to a Ford Puma ST (with Performance Pack) and I just wondered how you were finding yours Vs the S3?

I have own a Fiesta ST150 and Fiesta ST2 ST180 in the past and the Fords were always very reliable, my Audi is a very very nice car, but has had quite a few issues during my ownership, so I am considering moving back to Ford, but concerned I will miss the AWD and extra power. Any reflections you could offer would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Mine is also at DAGTOPS, it’s been there since 14th jan. Not sure how long the process takes to get to dealer but hopefully soon.

That’s like asking someone to try on a new pair of shoes for you 😆

Only you know whether you want to wait and what benefit (if any) there is to having a new plate.

You may not even get the choice? Could be that the dealership will want to register it before the new plate to juggle sales figures etc.

FWIW, mine was registered at the end of July on a 20 plate. Could I have asked to wait 4 weeks to get a 70 plate? Sure, but I’d not have got the discount I did as the incentive was to get it and registered before Sept.

May be different for you/those who ordered not knowing when yours would arrive. I knew mine was only a couple of weeks back then because it was in stock and ready to be delivered to the dealership.

If I were you, I’d wait. Why? Why not? You’ve waited this long, may as well get the latest plate.
