I know this is a silly question and I’m certain I know the answer is yes it increases, but today I had the display screen on that shows a bar for oil temp / oil psi / turbo boost for the first time really

As I accelerated the oil psi increased and then settled back down again when reaching an intended speed, seemed to happen along with boost and a little spirited push on the loud pedal

I know that as the engine speeds up then the oil pressure would increase to match that revolution, just confirming I’m right?

So many guages on this car

yes your correct, oil pumps generally are driven off the engine so as the revs increase the pump will spin more quickly increasing the oil pressure. The gauge probably isn't that accurate but will give a good indication of what is going on.
Obviously low oil pressure can cause damage but also oil pressure that is too high can be an issue

The Puma ST has active oil pressure control. When the engine is under load, regardless of RPM, the oil pressure will ramp up. When the load reduces, the pressure will reduce.

Yes there is a ECU controlled valve on the oil pump that regulates oil pressure depending on load

When I first got my car with all those gauges, I noticed the same thing. Oil pressure and turbo boost both increase when you accelerate because the engine’s working harder. It’s cool to see the gauges in action, but they do tend to bounce around a bit based on your driving.

Can I assume you can only see this info on the ST or do I need to go get a drink and a packet of biscuits and have a read of the manual.
