So today I removed my reg plate to fit the ford performance number plate surround and my private reg…. And found this… like wtf is wrong with people?? This has clearly been done from new.

Maybe it’s just me being an OCD enginner but for me this is unforgivable! Whoever did this should not be allowed to breed :lol:

Shoddy, the only part of the manufacturing process entrusted to a dealer......Sometimes I think they stretch the definition of technician... :(

Yep criminal damage is that. You should take is back and complain.
Your not the first unfortunately. I suspect they gave the job to semi skilled worker or new apprentice. If nothing else take it back and make a fuss with the hope they will stop doing it to other customers news vehicles.
No not OCD I am engineer also, well on aircraft and not cars either way completely unacceptable.

Mattcrx, Allen Ford did the same to my brand new Puma Vignale last December. Think it was at their prep bay near Coventry. Which dealer did this to your car.
Puma ST-Line-Vignale 155 manual, magnetic grey, DAP, electric tailgate. New in December 2021.

I can’t be too sure where the car was purchased from as I bought it through ford Arnold Clarke. This was 100% at a dealership though.
