Roof bars/roofrack on ST?

Hi, we're just looking at a Puma ST as a move up in size from a Fiesta ST, and really struggling to figure out whether it's possible to get a roof rack and/or bars that fit the ST.

The brochure and our dealer tell us they can't use the cross bars on the ST since the roof rails aren't an option....but that doesn't answer whether it's possible to get any sort of roof rack that will fit the flush roof of the ST. Has anyone managed to find/fit one to theirs?

We never checked this when we bought our Fiesta, and only found afterwards that since we spec'd the pano roof and Ford don't recommend roof bars with a sunroof that all options were off. Don't want to make the same mistake with the Puma but before we even get to the pano roof part....we just can't find whether there's even an option to have roof bars on it!

Appreciate any help, and will let you know if/when we order.

Thanks - I'd found that one and those parts from what I could find were both for cars with the rails, which I can't spec on the ST.

I think Thule have an option, so will go and check with the dealer whether the same restriction applies to Puma re the sunroof, i.e. spec that and all bets are off.

It's annoying though with Ford - there is an option in the Australian accessories listings for a rail-less set of roof bars and feet, but no equivalent in the UK. If you set the accesses website here to show ST, then they only offer the Thule accessories to go *on* the roof bars....not any actual roof bar packs themselves!

Unless I've got it all wrong (distinctly possible).

Roof rack fitted. Thule rubber feet (kit 145242), Evo clamps (710500) and cross bars (Wingbar Evo)

The test will be a camping weekend in the Cairngorms. The Puma is a downsize from my previous vehicle, so I’m determined to prove that it’s more than capable of taking all my kit.

When in Marshall Ford Cambridge last week I saw that they had fitted roof bars to their Gold Edition in the showroom so certainly doable.
