Hey guys nice to meet you all,
I have a query I sold my Peugeot 308 gti which I had a set of winter tyres for. The size is 235 x 35 x 19 and the Puma ST is 225 x 40 x 19 question is can i use them?
Thanks

I would imagine yes, but boy that's a real low profile and ride will be harsh especially so for winter usage and on the ST
That said it very much depends on max specifications for the original wheel, plus there is a slim chance of clearance issues.
I found tyre pressures on the ST for best handling critical and such your faced with an unknown. So in all honesty I would like to think better would be to switch to a 18" wheel and higher profile tyre.
The Pilot Sport 4S excels in warm dry and wet conditions, but don't work well in below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

I agree with Rays1. I think it could work, but I’m not entirely sure. I personally went with the 225/40 R19 Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 tyres. I didn’t want to switch my alloys, so had to stick to 19”.
