Hi,
I'm going to order my second Puma on Monday. First was a 1.7 in 2002, this time a Puma ST.

I've decided on everything (performance pack, driver assistance, maybe power tailgate) apart from the wheels, should I get the dark finish to match the agate black colour? Does anyone here have the dark finish wheels and if so do they stay dark, do they scratch etc.

Had mine over a year and the machined black wheels are still pristine...

They look lovely but they are hard to keep clean and show every mark, splash, raindrop, etc. so it depends whether you are prepared to put in the work to keep them looking nice.

I don't have that problem with mine on this one or my last Fiesta Active.

15 months on. You could eat your dinner off the inside of the spokes! Like most things, they are only as good as how you maintain/protect them.

Nothing wrong with my wheels after just over a year. Probably the easiest wheels I've had to keep clean.

NeilS has recommended some good wheel cleaner products in viewtopic.php?f=9&t=793 so you should be good to go.

That one is Carpro Perl @ 1:1 dilution.

Not the longest lasting, but easy to apply, nice satin, non oily residue finish and gives good water/dirt repellency.

I picked up my ST Performance Black the other week. I think the dark wheels complete the black stealth look.
