That would explain it. Puma Vignale would have been so much easier, plus a Vignale badge on the Puma rear would have been a nice touch.

Agreed. Not sure if they’ve dropped the Vignale badges. My mate’s got a 70 plate Focus Active X Vignale and he was disappointed it just says Focus on the boot. In fact the Vignale name is nowhere to be seen. They’ve now stopped that version in the Vignale guise.

Just to throw a final bit of confusion into the pot.... I picked up my new Vignale yesterday, and what does it say on the plate on the B-pillar ????? "Puma ST-Line X Vignale". So there ya go, not even Ford know what to call it.

Here is another twist. My ST Line X Vignale registerd in December2020 has the full title on the V5. Had no problems with insurance recognition of the model. Out walking in peak district last week and saw a brand new Fiesta with Vignale badge across the back!? Also says ST Line X Vignale on my B post too. The August 2020 brochure has this model outlined in it.

Oh, forgot to mention.... the spec plate on the drivers side B-pillar says Ford Cologne Germany. I would have thought it would say Romania?!

The spec plate on mine has no mention of Cologne or Craiova...Unless it's in code somewhere.
