Phone pairing

Just had delivery of new facelift Puma 1.0 ST Line and paired phone ok but incoming calla
display phone number not name of caller from phone book. Hands free calling works ok
from name. Samsung android A12.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled , rebooted phones but still just the same.

Any ideas

Have you allowed Sync to access contacts etc to download?

Also can check in Bluetooth on the phone those items are also allowed
Think there’s a menu on phone section in sync you can choose what’s displayed, not sure exactly where off top of my head

I had a nightmare trying to get contacts and stuff including texts to download and access
Though I now use car play now most of the time

I have finally cracked it.

Numbers in phone address book were saved as international i.e. 00 44 XXXXXXXXXXX

Removed international pre-fix and all ok

The 00 stands for a + so 00 44 same as +44. So i guess it won't interpret the name to the number with the "00".
I have a lot of numbers with the international prefix, but with the + and it works fine.

Just came to think of it IF you have some number abroad (other country or prefix) and want it to work you can try that trick.
