Screen freezing

Just nipped to the shop. Came out, popped in reverse and the camera stayed on. Eventually it went off and the screen went blank. Tried engine off, lock, unlock and still the same. Voice commands work but nothing showing on the screen unless I engage the reversing camera.

Audio working fine - it’s just the sync screen that has disappeared.

Very odd. Can I reset it without the screen on? If so how?

Just found it:

Resetting the System
Simultaneously press and hold the seek up and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.
Wait three minutes to allow the system to complete the reset.
Press the audio unit power button to switch the system on.
Note: You can reset the system to restore functionality that has stopped working. The system reset is designed to restore functionality and not delete any data that you have stored.

Seems fine this morning. It’s picked up a software update over Wi-Fi. I’ll leave it to it

This is where you need ETIS access to find out what's updating and when.

Otherwise there's just no way of knowing.

I think I might disable auto updates. Not sure my wifi can handle some of them.
