If it doesn’t like what you have it will reject it pretty quickly

Before the system reboots it may tell you you can remove the usb stick, I left it in until it rebooted and it said the update had completed. Whether this matters with regard to it writing the log file back to the usb stick I don’t know but it worked for me

You then have to upload the log so they know the car is updated

Tried it in the car today, recognised the USB because named it Ford but didn’t read/ download it, so looks like another format and another go at transferring the files from my Mac across to the usb.

Re format and copy files across, tried in car and now it comes up with an error code, so a step forward I guess.
Will re format again and try to copy files a different way

Finally got it done, anyone know what 3.4.20451_PRODUCT actually changed?

What factors decide which sync update people get?

I see Mike is on 20451 and I’m on 20351 after my update. Would be interesting to know as Mike has asked, what has changed for which version.

I'm on build 20136 and have been for months. I check on a regular basis and site maintains software up to date.

My radio logos look like they have disappeared which isn’t a major issue but a bit rubbish, someone is bound to have an answer hopefully ?
Asked Ford what the changes were and they didn’t have access to that info and was told to speak to my dealer which I thought was strange
