True. Just nipped out and blew a BMW X1 away with ease. He was trying hard too.

Must grow up but this car does that to you.

One more thing... You should consider asking your dealer to show you your car on ETIS tomorrow, that way you can make sure that all the software modules are up to date.

Spoke to my dealer about possibly getting the battery changed for a Varta and they agreed with my comment that I’d have to “jump thru a lot of hoops to get it changed under warranty”

Strange stance from the dealer but I think there must be a difference in the two 12v batteries used - if the hybrid uses the 48v for stop start then it shouldn’t need a 12v stop start battery, which I understand is more expensive.

I’m going to check now to see what batteries are recommended for both types of engine.

Ok - so entering my reg in a few battery sites brings up Stop/Start batteries only.

I’m lost now because I thought the hybrid stop/start is powered by the 48v battery.

Bosch comes in at £104 and Varta at £103. However I know my local battery specialist would be cheaper.

So does anyone know for sure if the stop/start on both hybrid and non hybrid uses the same 12v battery?

I’ve put my reg in a few sites and it always comes back with no batteries found (other than Halfords which suggested an own brand stop/start)
