Instrument Cluster Intermittent Fault

Further update. Car still with dealer and the fault hasn't been diagnosed. Its now with Ford UK to identify the fix. No guarantee that it will get sorted.

Very disappointing considering its brand new.

If there's a fault, it has to be rectified, don't be fobbed off.

Update folks. Technicians at Ford in Durham have taken out the instrument cluster, wiring looms and couldn't locate the fault.

Decided to reject the car.

Had another owner on Facebook have the same issue and Ford know about the fault, need to order a replacement part but the owner doesn't know what the part is or what the fault is because Ford won't tell her.

Have had 3 Fords and all have had issues-Focus with an intermittent electrical fault, a Fiesta where the paint peeled off the bumper and the Puma with the blank instrument cluster. Lost all confidence in Ford.

We have decided to go back to Nissan and am waiting on delivery of a Juke Tekna+. Had 4 Nissans in the past and none of these have had a single issue.

A shame, but we need something reliable.

A real shame. Good luck with the Juke. Your Puma will go on the forecourt and be sold to an unsuspecting buyer....

New ST owner here and mine has started flickering tonight on the normal and eco screens, not happy. Car is 4 weeks old!!!

Will keep looking ,no rush the fiesta is running great,the right one will turn up
