Thank you.
I have been uninstalling and reinstalling the app on a regular basis, but to no avail. Guess I'll just live without it.
Have you tried the Ford Pass Pro? It's better than the other one and gives you all you need AFAIK.
Thanks, I'll give it a go.

I did the sync update using a 32gb usb drive and confirmed that via the .XML file.
For the Maps update I decided to try the OTA WiFi update option... Wasn't convinced it would work. But then having made sure my ST was connected to my house Wifi. In the general settings option in Sync I selected 'check for software updates' via the screen. (No USB drive necessary and no engine running)
Hey presto it started to download.
Car locked and l left Sync to auto power down, I went indoors to watch TV and left my ST to do it's magic.
Slow process but after around 4hrs or so (I didn't time it) I later checked my car, pressed the 'on' button on Sync, 'Lo and Behold', oh yes F11 Maps install was reported as complete.
OMG - how good is that. No driving about for hours and no waste of time and fuel. Perfect.
Did you leave the engine running whilst downloading?
No engine running at all during OTA.
The "about sync" option on Sync tells me software version is 22110 and F11 maps are installed.
When I go to the Ford Software Webb page and put in my vin number. It reports that the software on my vehicle is upto date.

There's ongoing issues with the modems. Does your modem ESN show in the about screen or is it blank

Well I dont know what happened with my update. It updated and produced an xml file, but Ford rejects it. Ive manually checked in the car but that still doesnt let me have access to the f11 download.

Doesnt matter because I wont be using the no-board nav, but still annoying.

Yes the modem ESN does show in the about screen. Note I have hidden mine just in case (well just in case!).

Same here. Updated ok.

However, no indication as to f11 download being available.

After many attempts still can't upload file, "Sorry, error. Please try later".

Live chat on Ford website was a waste of time. 😡

If you can connect to your home WiFi then running check for updates should do the same job as uploading the log file.
