Sync software update !!!

OK, so who, if anyone, is on F9 maps after the update?

Hi Duncriag, same results on iPad, Tab S6, high end Win 10 Pro Laptop and Desktop. Simply nothing under “Not your car?”. I take it you are/were on F8 maps and the update is for F9 maps. Note my screen grab is just the right hand side, I cut out the left hand side.

Yes on F8 Maps, Sync 20136, updated from 19200. I hope to try the update tomorrow afternoon as it's said to take over an hour. Mind you last Sync3 was to take an hour and mine finished in less than 15 minutes

All Done. First update took just over 1 ¼ hours. Second update about 45 minutes. Ver smooth, no errors at all

Where did you download the update from? It's still saying I'm up to date and I have definitely got F8 still.

I've already posted the Ford page you can get it from. If you have done an update and not sent the XML file to Ford then Map update will not appear until Ford's database updates, this seems to take about a week to ten days.

That's why I asked...Update done, XML file sent, Ford then changed the page to confirm I was up to date and there is no map update. I'll await Ford pulling their finger out and use Android auto in the meantime.

My map update is not showing yet, but can I ask why the two updates?

Done both Sync updates now downloading 22GB map update. Going to need the big memory USB stick for this one..
