Sync software update !!!

Interesting, just checked again and I've been offered a NEW Sync download, prev was SYNC3_882801116, which took me to 20136. This morning offered SYNC3_882801185 ( 842mB ) !!! Downloading now

So 2 weeks after update and log file uploaded still showing as update available. Other than Sparks & Firstford has anyones else's log file been recognised

That because we performed the update twice, starting with a fresh download and a clean USB.

Mine shows 20136 though and I've uploaded another log file using interrogator app

Yes, simply repeat the 20136 update again from a new download on the car. Follow the full procedure and then upload the new log file.

I've downloaded the map update file, 22Gb! , twice to both a Mac and Windows laptop. Extract works and builds the folder properly with the files in SyncMyRide but in Root there is only the "autoinstall.lst" file, the "DONTINDX.MSA" is missing. Can I use the MSA file from the SYNC3 update I applied last week? The file DONTINDX.MSA is shown as having zero size.

Where did you get your map file from? Mine is showing new map update available but no download.

Just typed in my VIN and update was there. Did you do the SYNC3 update that was available earlier? You have to send the XML file to Ford after the update is done and it took about a week before it registered as updated.

I updated to SYNC3_882801186 last week as that was the one listed for my Jan 2020 155 FE

So two weeks ago I had 88281116 offered, this upgraded me to 20136 and I uploaded log file from USB and a week later a second log file from interrogator.
I've been checking daily for changes.
This morning offered 88281185. Comparing the files in folders they are EXCACTLY the same. Anyway I installed to keep Fords happy. Different install today. USB in, message shortly saying pt one installed, restart to continue with part two. Did this and after short while message to remove USB and changes to take effect on next restart. On next key cycle no messages appear at all. Log file uploaded.
No changes that I can see, still 20136.
I'm MArch build, interesting that Duncraig was offered 88281185 ? Still on 20136 Duncraig ?

Are you using a phone or tablet to check? I think a 22Gb file would need a Windows or Apple laptop etc. to save the file.

Hi Duncriag, same results on iPad, Tab S6, high end Win 10 Pro Laptop and Desktop. Simply nothing under “Not your car?”. I take it you are/were on F8 maps and the update is for F9 maps. Note my screen grab is just the right hand side, I cut out the left hand side.
