This evening I checked the Sync update site AND have an update.

I've had several issues with Sync and Live Traffic, one didn't work and the Ford site stated I didn't have Sync in car. Lots of emails from CRC and apparently this week Ford rolled out a server update.

Anyone else got same update available ? ?

Yep update available for mine ltoo.

Let me know how you get on. I've had nothing but trouble trying to get these updates onto previous cars.

Yep have one for mine, and just noticed an APIM update on Ford Etis, I wonder if it’s the surround sound update.

SYNCGen3.0_3.4.20136 its the version on the update so Sync 20136 .
20196 is the latest out !

I was 19274.......updating now.........

And I have the APIM update aswell. I heard dealers are often very reluctant to carry out these updates......

Smoothest update I've had in 5 years of Ford Sync ownership !!!!!

Is this update applied via the car or downloaded on a memory stick and then the car updated?

Hi Duncraig

Download from https://www.ford.co.uk/owner/resources- ... oth/update#/ then load onto USB stick. Initial load took maybe 30mins, then restart of car and the below appeared after few mins
Unusually painless for Ford updates.

Thanks Steve, I wish Ford were as helpful and quick to reply. I'll format a stick then do an update either later today or tomorrow

Oh my.... Have they finally cracked it? Notice any differences in settings etc?

Anyone been able to connect to home WiFi and check for updates to see if the car detect it.
